Arabians in Motion is the Premiere Arabian/Half Arabian sport horse Club in the Pacific Northwest. It was founded by some dedicated members in the mid 90s who realized the value of the Arabian/Half Arabian horse in the sporting disciplines. The membership has changed over the years; however, many of the dedicated members remain. Our members are dedicated to the Arabian/Half Arabian sport horse and consider their horses to be part of the family. Many participate in trail riding, dressage, hunter over fences, hunter equitation, endurance, sport horse under saddle, sport horse show hack, carriage driving, and sport horse in hand. Many compete in Open Dressage and Open Hunter/Jumper shows. We are dedicated to supporting like-minded organizations that recognize the Arabian/Half Arabian horse for its many values. Therefore, there is an award given to an endurance rider each year at the annual PNER convention in January based on either number of miles completed or number of completions. Our club has members throughout the states of Oregon, Washington and Idaho. Once a year the club puts on an “added value” horse show to allow our Arabian Horse competitors to show their horses and earn qualifying point for Regional and National show pursuits, as well as to participate with non Arabian competitors in an Open Opportunity Class show program. We have found that the camaraderie and the sharing of knowledge has been enjoyed by all and has helped to build better relationships in the horse industry in the Pacific Northwest. MISSION STATEMENT: Dedication to support and build up the Arabian/Half Arabian Sport Horse and the people, young and old, who love and care for this Arabian/Half Arabian sport horse for its talents, willingness, endurance, and beauty.
